Trading exceeds expectations at park kiosk

The new catering kiosk at Radipole Park and Gardens, Weymouth, has got off to a flying start.
Greenslade Taylor Hunt has let the new catering kiosk at Radipole Park and Gardens to Mumma Bee’s on behalf of Weymouth Town Council.
Radipole Gardens has been redeveloped and improved following a £1M award from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. A celebration event took place to mark the upgrade on Saturday. It now comprises the catering kiosk, children’s outdoor play area, sensory gardens, petanque court, public tennis courts, scooter park and free car parking.
Mumma Bee’s was selected as the preferred tenant by the town council following a competitive informal process. Tim Wright, of Greenslade Taylor Hunt, reported that there was strong interested following a brief marketing period.
Hollie Bailey, of Weymouth Town Council said: “Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s assistance getting the right candidate for the kiosk has been brilliant.”
Mumma Bee’s has reported that trading is far exceeding expectations and thanked everyone for their support.
