Babe hits bullseye at Spotlight Sale

For the second year in a row, David, Claire & Matt Jones from Wiltor Holsteins topped the Spotlight Sale, consigning Wiltor Bullseye Babe, granddaughter of the 2022 Royal Winter Fair Reserve Grand Champion, Jacobs High Octane Babe Ex96-2E-CAN. This showy, November born calf sold for an impressive 8500gns to Shanael Holsteins.

Wiltor Tatoo Shakira out of Wiltor King Doc Shakira VG89-MAX and great granddaughter of the illustrious Erbacres Snapple Shakira Ex97-2E, Supreme Champion at Royal Winter Fair 2023 and World Dairy Expo 2023 was not far behind. This heifer was served to Bullseye and sold for 6500gns to Serena Holsteins.

M & JC Gould Ltd from Shrewsbury continued their dispersal with Woodmarsh Ranger Melody Red 2, backed by 5 generations of excellence all of which had lifetime production awards of 100 tonnes or more. This eye catching calf went on to sell for 4200gns. M & JC Gould Ltd also consigned Woodmarsh Dorman Zandra, going back to Ocean-View Mandel Zandra Ex95, which went on to sell for 3500gns.

Brown Swisses topped at 2000gns for Allstar Super Nova, granddaughter of WF Supreme Norway Ex94 and consigned on behalf of K Thomas.

The only Jersey on offer sold to 2000gns for Starlet Ferdinand Samsybil 2 consigned by K Rickard.
