Stapleoak sell to 2750gns!

The Stapleoak herd for the Macey family sold up to top at 2750gns with the most demand coming for the fresh milk. The super herd of cows sold to all corners of the UK & Wales covering 12 counties!
Top of the day was 2750gns (£2887.5) for the 3rd Lactation cow Stapleoak Shilling Joelle, who was much admired over social media, and was giving 42kgs daily. At 2550gns was both Staple Oak Raven poppy and Stapleoak Mambo Eva both again in their third lactations. Fresh Heifers topped at 2500gns (£2625) for Raven Wendy. Two others were recorded at 2500gns. And in total 31 sold in excess of £2000.
Spring calvers sold to 2300gns for a young cow that was still recoding 38kgs and heavily back in calf. Incalf heifers sold well topping at 1750gns for a heifer by Dynamite.
29 different buyers were recorded from Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Monmouthshire and Wiltshire achieving the following averages for this all year round calving herd.
