Warren Park Farm On Farm Dispersal Sale

Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt were back on farm for the second time in two weeks to disperse the commercial dairy herd for W P F Alderholt Ltd Warren Park Farm on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire.
The demand for quality fresh milk continued with no less than 64 over £2,000 on the day topping at £2,885.50 twice for a July calved 2nd lactation daughter of Edg Bob Cyprus and the calved heifer by SS-I Millington Totem both purchased by a volume buyer from Wiltshire.
At £2,835 were a fresh 3rd calver and calved heifer by the Rager Red sire. Another Cyprus 2nd calver and calved heifer both sold at £2,782.50. The herd included a large number 5th – 10th lactation cows which sold well to exceed £1,600 on numerous occasions.
The incalf heifer section as also topped by a Cyprus daughter at £1,942.50 with others at £1,890 due this autumn. June born maiden heifers sold to £997.50 x4 with heifer calves by Renegade ET born in May selling to £504.
The day started with surplus deadstock which saw the 2005 Loadall sell for £18,800 and the 1987 John Deere 2850 4WD Tractor for £9,500 and Mueller 10,000 litre Bulk Tank for £5,000.
The first on farm dairy sale to be held in Hampshire for many years was supported by over 30 buyers from Ireland, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall to generate the following excellent averages.
