A smaller number catalogued for the October Collective Sale to include entries from across the south west produced an impressive 38 different purchasers from Cornwall to Wales with 50% of the fresh milk section selling for over £2000! The day topped at 2550gns (£2677.5) for a super calved heifer from DB & H Miles, Withamhall Alec Bangle. Not far behind was regular consignors Rea & Son with Clenchers Donte Whiteheather at 2350gns (£2467.5) and the calved heifer from the Fewing family’s Keevil herd at 2300gns (£2415). Top price cow at 2250gns (£2362.50) was the second lactation Davlea Promar Erle from Ian & Max Davies, they also sold Davlea Denver Pledge for 2200gns. A good consignment of Organic fresh milk from the AH Warren Trust sold to 2050gns (£2152.5) twice for calved heifers.

Incalf heifers sold to 1750gns for PD & JL Biss and 1700gns for DB & H Miles with bulling heifers to 920gns for AH Warren Trust.
