Lynn celebrates 30 years in estate agency

An indispensable member of the Greenslade Taylor Hunt branch at Tiverton celebrates 30 years in property sales today (September 27).
Lynn Smith MNAEA loves her role as Residential Manager, but it was chance that led her to a career in estate agency. She was looking for weekend work and found a position working in a Tiverton estate agent. From there, the role grew.
She thrives on the buzz of meeting clients, chasing sales, and finding buyers their dream home.
“It’s lovely when you sell a renovation project and go back to see if all transformed,” said Lynn, who has a penchant for period properties with lots of character.
Lynn has seen a lot in her years working in estate agency, from opening a stable door on a valuation and being met face-to-face with a giant Great Dane, to finding a teenager who had refused to vacate his bed mid-viewing!
There aren’t many people who know the property market in Tiverton quite like Lynn, who comments that the commuting links, combined with countryside beauty has an awful lot to offer, “Nothing else is very far away, what more could you want?!”
