Philip Hodgkin Joins GTH Partnership

January 2023

Rural professional Philip Hodgkin has become the newest Partner at Greenslade Taylor Hunt – the multi-disciplinary property firm with offices in Somerset, Devon and Dorset. He joined the firm in October 2017 working alongside the late Charles Clark in Chard.

He has been based there ever since, running a small team covering all aspects of general professional rural surveying work.

Philip also runs a smallholding of beef cattle and sheep so is well-placed to understand the needs of farmers and the rural community.

Before joining GTH as an Associate Philip worked for a well-respected national firm for more than nine years. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers. He has also chaired the Western Counties Agricultural Valuers Association and is a committee member of the Somerset branch of the Agricultural Law Association.

He provides a wide range of rural consultancy advice and agency services to landowners, businesses, farmers, developers, other professionals and more throughout the South West.

Philip is married to Suse and they have a nine-year-old son, Bertie and a seven-year-old daughter, Zara.

In his spare time he coaches mini rugby at North Petherton Rugby Football Club and enjoys all rural pursuits.
