Property Experts Expand their Reach to Open 19th Office

February 2022

We are delighted to have officially opened our firm’s 19th office in a key spot close to Bristol Airport.

As a multifaceted firm, which also runs the renowned regional livestock market at Sedgemoor Auction Centre at J24 of the M5, we have picked Redhill at the foot of the Mendip Hills just South of Bristol as the newest base for our operation. The office is at the heart of North Somerset and fits in perfectly with our neighbouring branches in Wells and Burnham-on-Sea.

We already have a large client base in the North Somerset area and the new office will enable staff to provide an enhanced service and the ability to offer a comprehensive range of services more effectively.

These will include property sales and lettings and advice on planning and development, rural grants, landlord and tenant matters, compulsory purchase and compensation, and telecoms. Valuations for all purposes will also be available throughout North Somerset, Bristol and Bath.

Commenting on the exciting new era in our expansion Jeremy Bell, Partner, said: “GTH is one of the biggest independently owned firms in the business, certainly in the South West, and capturing the Bristol commuter belt market is a natural expansion.”

Jeremy and Robert Baker will both work full-time from the office alongside agricultural surveyor Jamie Batt, who covers the Mendips from the Wells office and who will also use this agricultural hub at Redhill.

They will be supported by a dedicated group of agricultural surveyors and rural experts based at Burnham-on-Sea headed by Robert Stone. These staff have recently relocated to new premises at 44 High Street, Burnham-on-Sea.

Jeremy added: “Already prominent in the area, we hope to build on our successful property auctions ably supported by the next generation of experienced auctioneers. We are delighted to be continuing to strategically invest and bring our expertise to serve the rural community in the surrounding areas.”

The new office is located at Chancellors Pound, ‘The Pound”, Redhill. The name being synonymous with cattle pounded whilst being droved to Bristol in the days of horse and cart is a particularly appropriate fit for a firm steeped in rural knowledge and expertise. The office backs onto the A38 at the first turning to Redhill, just 3 miles South of Bristol Airport and can be contacted on 0117 203 5577.
