An opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join our growing Building Surveying team covering Somerset and Devon.
This full-time, permanent role have flexibility to work across our regional offices and some remote working available.
The position is suited to a motivated, qualified Building Surveyor with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience and a strong track record. You will undertake a varied workload within a dynamic and rewarding environment, with opportunities for career progression and involvement in business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of specifications
- Contract administration and project management
- Building condition reports
- Costed schedules of work
- Defect diagnosis and reporting
- Preparation of dilapidations and condition schedules
- Party wall matters
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- MRICS or MCIOB qualification with at least 3 years’ PQE
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
