Coronavirus (Covid-19)
Updated 29th May 2020

Notice on future arrangements: As a handful of Vendors and onlookers are abusing the “drop & go” arrangements for the sheep sections, the store lambs and cull ewes will remain on Friday afternoons until further notice to facilitate social distancing amongst the buyers.
Notice to those Vendors that enter the pennage area: Please think of the market staff.  Staff are putting themselves at risk by being in the working environment.  Please minimise those risks by not entering the pennage area.  As a Vendor you cannot be certain you are not carrying Covid-19.  You do not know the members of staff’s personal situations, with respect to whether any of their family members have underlying health issues.  Please co-operate with current guidance and minimise the risk to staff and their families by not entering the pennage area.
