Jon has been a registered architect for over 30 years, with extensive experience in rural regeneration schemes, one off houses and conservation. Having qualified from the University of Portsmouth he spent time working in Winchester before taking a Master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati and spending several years working in Ohio. Since returning from the USA he has worked for several, mainly rural, architectural practices and was the project architect for two award winning schemes. An RIBA regional award for Sansaw with Ross Sharpe Architects and an award from the Georgian Group for Duredon with Llewellyn Harker Lowe Architects. Other projects have been extremely varied in both type and location – a new heliport in Penzance to a Scottish castle near Inverness. Jon is now recovering from the effects of dependent children and looking forward to travelling again.
