Michael grew up in South Devon and followed his father into the land agency profession, studying Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester. He began his career with a Dorset firm of Land Agents, where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1993, before returning to a Devon-based firm of Chartered Surveyors. There, he qualified as an Agricultural Valuer and progressed to Partner, gaining over 30 years’ experience in the Devon rural property market. Michael focuses on a wide range of rural property matters, including professional valuations; the sale of land, farms and rural property; and a broad spectrum of professional services such as subsidy claims, compensation claims, tenant rights, and the auctioning of property, machinery and livestock.
