An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Burnham on Sea team, which manages a large portfolio of residential let properties across the Burnham on Sea area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing our clients with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service including liaising with Landlords, Tenants and internal Stakeholders.   Compliance is also a big part of this role; ensuring that at all times our Landlords and Tenants are complying with the most up to date legislation for residential properties.  
 
You will effectively work as part of a small, multi-disciplined team ensuring that our clients’ expectations are not just met, but exceeded.  
This is a busy, fast moving role, and the ideal candidate will need to be resilient, have the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure at all times.
This is a part time role, working 3 days per week and every other Saturday 9am – 1pm.

This is a busy, fast moving role, and the ideal candidate will need to be resilient, have the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure at all times.
This is a full time role, working Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, plus one in three Saturdays 9am – 1pm.  Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.

Taunton - Administrator – Development, Land & Planning

This is a full time, permanent position commencing asap.  You will be required to work Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm.
An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to support our Development, Land & Planning team in our busy office in Blackbrook, Taunton.   The role is key to the success of the department in providing excellent service to both external and internal customers. This is a demanding role in a busy environment.
Specific tasks include:

  • Filing, administration, archiving, scanning of documents.
  • Preparing documents and marketing particulars dictated via audio.
  • Providing general administrative assistance to a team of Development Surveyors/Planning Consultants and Architects.
  • Using MS Word and Excel to generate reports and schedules, prepare letters for onward transmission using MS Outlook.  
The Person:

The ideal candidate will have a great attitude to work, be personable and extremely keen to learn.  The right candidate needs to have previous experience in working in a busy multi-disciplined professional services department.  Previous experience is essential in audio typing, using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.  A typing test will be required as part of the interview process.

Job Role

  • Experience working in a block management department/company or in a property focused company
  • Experience using the Blocks Online software package (not essential)
